IS YOUR RV READY FOR DIGITAL TV?
By Federal Law, all American Television stations must switch their broadcasting from Analog to Digital, by June 12, 2009. Television sets connected to cable, telephone company provider, or satellite service will not be affected.
Who will be affected?
Viewers who receive free television signals through antennas (rabbit ear type) on televisions that are equipped with Analog Tuners - and who do not subscribe to cable, satellite, telephone company TV service provider - will be affected by the transition.
How Can I switch to DTV? You can make the switch to DTV by following one of the easy steps, by June 12, 2009.:

Purchase a DTV Converter box that plugs into your existing Analog TV set. (This converter box will enable you to receive free DTV TV reception and the boxes are available now. The Federal Government provides $40 coupons that you may use toward the purchase of these converter boxes.)
- Purchase a new TV set, with a built-in digital tuner
- Subscribe to a cable, satellite or telephone company service provider to continue to use your analog TV set, if all desired local broadcast stations are carried by that service.
How do I take advantage of the TV Converter Box Coupon Program?
From this time until March 31, 2009, households will be able to request coupons, while supplies last, in one of four (4) ways:
- Apply on-line at www.dtv2009.gov
- Call the Coupon Program Hotline 1-888-DTV-2009 (1-877-388-2009) TTY 1-877-530-2634
- Mail a coupon application to: PO Box 2000 Portland, Oregon 97208-2000
- Fax a coupon application to: 1-877-DTV-4ME2 (1-877-388-4632).
There are no income guidelines for eligibility !
